Kristoffer Gori Verdoner Quartet
is a newly startet and young prominent jazz quartet based in Aarhus, Denmark. The band leader Kristoffer Gori Verdoner is a Danish guitarist and composer who has had hundreds of performances, both as a frontman and sideman in various music genres from jazz, blues, pop, rock, RnB and hip hop to various big band and musical projects.
Kristoffer's love and knowledge of the many genres in music will also shine through in his compositions and together with his new founded quartet, they have found a unique sound and style, where there is a lot of space for improvisation, while still preserving the song and music, with a common clear idea of how to present each song to the audience.
In 2021, Kristoffer got together with Emil Sommer Larsen (piano), Christian Aagaard Trier (bass) and Lars Asger Nørby (drums) and together they formed the group 'Kristoffer Gori Verdoner Quartet'.
Despite Kristoffer's young age, he has already established a good name for himself and has one solo record released in his name. In 2015, Kristoffer released his debut album 'Frigga Feetless & Friends', which was a meeting between musicians from Denmark, Estonia and USA. This album was also a part of Kristoffer's final presentation attaining his 'Master of Music' degree at The Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus. Since then, Kristoffer has performed his music together with different artists from Denmark, Estonia and USA.
